Sept 16-19 New York Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival

First of all, happy birthday! I wrote that assuming it is one of your birthdays and that at least one person (up to five) will appreciate that I pretended to know their birthday. You are very welcome, random person(s). I hope today you get pregnant or a promotion or have a nice meal with friends.

The second season of Delocated is currently airing on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim at 10pm.
 
Bob's Burgers, a new cartoon for Fox created by Loren Bourchard (Dr. Katz, Home Movies, Lucy, Daughter of the Devil) and starring Jon Benjamin, John Roberts, Kristen Schaal, Dan Mintz and me will be airing in January of 2011!

New York August - October Music without Borders Buckwheat Zydeco, Brandi Carlile, Nick Lowe

This week on the NYC Rockin' the River Cruises, Buckwheat Zydeco plays on Thursday and The Nerds on Friday.

Next Thursday, August 19 on the cruises is a very specical show - "Howlin' for Hubert: A Tribute to Hubert Sumlin" featuring Hubert
(legendary guitarist and former sideman for Howlin' Wolf) and his all-star band with David Johansen (New York Dolls), John Sebastian
(Lovin' Spoonful), Jimmy Vivino (Fab Faux, Conan O'Brien) and Joey Spampinato & Tom Ardolino from NRBQ. Marcia Ball performs on
August 26 and Donna the Buffalo on August 27. Each cruise is a 2 hour concert and tour that sails past the Statue of Liberty, Ellis
Island, Brooklyn Bridge and the NYC skyline. We sail on the Circle Line located at Pier 83, W42nd Street at 12th Avenue. Please
